Presenter: Anna de la Paz
Explore Spain’s rich Jewish culture through dance and music with Spanish dance artist and scholar, Anna de la Paz. "La Yave d’Espanya" lecture/demonstration will take place on Sunday, March 2nd at 2 pm and will highlight the Judeo-Spanish musical contributions to the world, not only through the Sephardic ballads but also through flamenco and the work of the Spanish nationalistic composers of the early 20th century. This lecture will also include a few original Spanish dance choreographies.
